Overview
What you need to know before you buy

When selecting faucets and fixtures, it's easy to get excited about the beauty of the products. It's very important to be informed of the nature of the finishes, and the maintenance level of the materials that these products will require. We want you to be happy with your buying decisions for years to come. Factors to address include lifestyle, geographical location (marine environments), atmospheric conditions, the number and age of children using the products and the amount of household help. It's also necessary to determine the amount of time and effort required to maintain products. One may love the look of glass vessels, but they are a challenge to keep clean and free of fingerprints. Glass vessels are also more fragile than vitreous china sinks. Another factor is the location of products within a bath or kitchen. Wall-mounted faucets may not be appropriate for families with small children because the handles can be difficult for little hands to reach. These are a few examples of the issues that this booklet will address. We hope to give you all the information you need to make the right buying decision.
