Niels Otto Møller completed his apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker in 1939 and started his own furniture company five years later. Møller is known for elegant lines and flawless craftsmanship. His designs stripped away ornamentation highlighting natural materials and the skill of the maker. He often worked in rosewood and teak, which accentuated the elegant curves of his designs.
