Description
A mid-century classic, this vintage cabinet was designed by Gunni Omann for Omann Jun Møbelfabrik, circa 1960s. Carrying all the trademarks of classic Scandinavian mid-century design, this cabinet features a boxy silhouette propped up by tapered legs with features two doors that open up to reveal ample hidden storage space.
The Danish furniture manufacturing company Omann Jun's Mobelfabrik was founded by Andreas Omann in 1933. The family-run business initially focused on the production of bedroom furniture but later, in the 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s, expanded into dining room furniture, desks, sideboards, and shelving systems made of high-quality woods, such as teak, oak, and rosewood. Gunni Omann, oldest son of Andreas Omann, was the designer in the family and has created a range of notable pieces.
