Vintage Klein Chair

Price for 1 chair (Sold as a set of 6)

Designed by Henry W. Klein for Bramin Mobelfabrik, this stunning dining chair is crafted in teak.

Born in Norway in 1919, Henry W. Klein studied mathematics and linguistics as a young man. He would later serve in the Norwegian Royal Marines, where he developed an interest in cabinetmaking. He then went to study at the Technical School in Denmark where Finn Juhl taught. Upon completing his education, he moved back to Norway to open his own business designing furniture and interiors. In 1960, he returned to Denmark to collaborate with furniture manufacturer Bramin. Like his contemporaries, Klein followed the Danish design aesthetic of “well proportioned, well crafted forms” that create a sense of comfort while making a strong visual statement.
