Piedra Tosca

With a focus on the reactions of natural materials to create a textural landscape, this artwork draws its audience with its subtle yet intricate textures that have been formed using complex bioconstruction techniques. This piece is handmade in Spain with a mixed technique on canvas and comes with a lightly grained, brown wood frame.

Edu Pous is a self-taught plastic artist in love with the natural materials used in traditional building construction, such as lime, plaster and clay, he started out learning his craft from the artisans of Marrakech, Morrocco.

He is the owner of Defango, a bioconstruction company where he is developing natural coatings and restorations materials. Through his company, he is able to use complex bioconstruction techniques to expand his artistic ability to create exceptional unique artwork.
